“When I had car trouble out of town, I went to another Kia dealership. That dealership contacted Cowboy Kia directly, explained the issue, and even shared what they believed was causing the problem. Instead of working with them or acknowledging the information, Cowboy Kia told me that I would have to bring the vehicle back to them because they had to see it since they were the last ones who touched it. I explained to the service representative that I had my grandchild with me and did not feel safe driving all the way back with the car shaking and making loud noises. Even after I shared that concern, I was still told that they needed to see it themselves because they didn’t know what the other Kia dealership did. At that point, I chose to let the Kia where I was fix the car because I was not going to risk driving back with my baby in an unsafe vehicle. The problems started after Cowboy Kia worked on my front end. My steering wheel began shaking, and then the car started making a shrieking noise. I later learned that Cowboy Kia did not resurface the brakes and installed third‑party brake parts—something that was never discussed with me as the customer. I was charged for company parts, but third‑party parts were put on my vehicle instead. As a customer, I expect honesty, communication, and accountability. I should not have to chase down answers or be told to drive hours back to the dealership when another Kia location already identified the issue. This experience left me disappointed and concerned about the safety, quality, and transparency of the service I received.”
