2 months agoJohn Parkinson is the best salesperson. I’ve been buying cars from him for over six years. I bought a used car for my mom, unfortunately we had a flat when we left the lot a mile away. Parkinson came to our rescue even though he didn’t have to it was our fault. Parkinson goes beyond the call of duty. I will always buy cars from him.

8 months agoI purchased a used Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport from Andrew and had a terrible experience from start to finish. The very next day, I took the car to my mechanic for an inspection, and as soon as he opened the hood, he noticed an old oil leak on one of the valves. The oil was very low, and a bracket had been left off the back of the catalytic converter, showing that someone had been working on the engine recently — none of which was disclosed to me. Naturally, I was upset. I returned to the dealership within two days to bring the car back. There was no manager on site at the used car building, so I went to the main building and spoke with Mark, the general manager. He seemed willing to help and assured me that they would work with me to get into a different vehicle for the same price I had already paid. He even pulled up a couple of similar vehicles and asked me to take some time to think it over. The next day, I came back, test drove another vehicle, and even had my mechanic inspect it again. After taking time off work to handle all this, I told them I wanted that one. Only then did they tell me I would have to pay more — which was not the deal Mark and I had discussed. This entire situation was frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. I felt misled and not treated fairly after spending a significant amount of money. I would strongly recommend buyers be cautious and get a full independent inspection before purchasing from this dealership. Very poor business practices and communication.

2 months agoThis review is specifically about your Finance Department. I recently purchased a new Atlas from your dealership. Although I had already spent $1,400 on my previous vehicle and ultimately received less for my trade-in than originally quoted, I was still excited about purchasing a new car. Prior to arriving at the dealership, I had already secured an approval through Chase — not a “pre-approval,” but a fully approved loan with a confirmation code and rate in hand. While finalizing the purchase with your finance department, I was informed that because the total amount financed was slightly higher than my original estimate, the Chase rate was supposedly no longer available and that Wells Fargo offered the “better” rate. A week later, I continued receiving notifications from Chase regarding my approved rate based on the original estimate I submitted. Curious, I contacted Chase directly to ask why their rate was allegedly higher than what I received through Wells Fargo. I was informed that the rate provided was in fact a valid approved rate that should have been honored by the dealership. I then updated Chase with the actual financed amount, and surprisingly, the revised rate was STILL lower than the Wells Fargo financing your dealership placed me in. I returned to the dealership today and initially spoke with my excellent salesperson, who has been one of the few positive aspects of this experience. Unfortunately, I was then directed to another finance representative whose attitude and professionalism were extremely disappointing. She was dismissive, condescending, and completely unsympathetic to my concerns. The way she spoke to me was disrespectful and unprofessional, as though I lacked the ability to understand financing matters. Rather than continue a frustrating and unproductive conversation, I chose to leave before the situation escalated further. It is unfortunate because your Sales and Service Departments have both been great to work with. However, experien

a month ago★☆☆☆☆ I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at DeMontrond Volkswagen of Conroe. I was originally told I would need around $4,000 down on a vehicle. Then when I came back, I was suddenly told I needed $10,000 down instead. On top of that, the staff acted like they never told me $4,000 in the first place and basically tried to make it seem like the original conversation never happened. I understand that numbers can change, but what I don't appreciate is being told one thing and then getting a completely different story later. I rearranged my plans based on the information they gave me, only to find out it wasn't true. The lack of honesty and accountability was what upset me the most. Buying a car is a major decision, and customers deserve straightforward answers. My experience left me feeling misled, frustrated, and like my time was not respected. I would recommend getting every promise and every number in writing before trusting anything you're told here.
