  Today I visited Serra Chevrolet in Sterling Heights to see about selling my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox (just crossed 100,000 miles). I walked into the used car department expecting at least a fair conversation — especially since I originally bought the vehicle from the same dealership. Instead, I was told they don’t buy Chevy vehicles over 100k miles and was advised to “go find an outside buyer.” One staff member even joked that after 100k miles, it’s basically garbage and better not to buy Chevy. Now here’s the confusing (and slightly funny) part: Every other day I receive messages and marketing from the dealership asking me to “upgrade” and buy another vehicle from them.So let me understand this correctly… The car you proudly sold me is considered garbage at 100k miles — but I should confidently buy another one from you? If that’s truly how you feel about the longevity of the vehicles you sell, that’s concerning. If it was just careless wording, that’s even more disappointing coming from a brand representative. I’m not upset about a business decision dealerships can choose what inventory they want. But openly dismissing your own brand’s durability, especially to a returning customer, sends a very strange message. I hope management sees this and reflects on how that conversation could have been handled better. Would I buy again? After today, I’m not so sure.

  UPDATE: We just purchased our Roswell Green C8 Corvette from our good friend Zach Gregory. I grew up with Zach and he is amazing at what he does. No hassle with him. Totally blew our minds with a great deal. We were just looking! Also the finance department got our money back from previous warranties saving us almost 4k! By far the best experience. VIP RED CARPET. We are bringing her back for a full detail in the spring. I expect a diet Coke Zach. On the house. - love the Barnharts. PS HE GOT ME A DIET COKE! Thank you Zach! Nov 2025: Today, we had an incredible service experience at this dealership. We brought our 23 ZR2 in for a recall, and everything went smoothly. They even dropped off my fiancé at home so I didn’t have to make a second trip early this morning. When we went to pick up later this afternoon, we were greeted by friendly staff and it was great to see an old friend, Zach Gregory! Thank you for providing such a great experience, and I can’t wait to return soon to pick up my new ride!

  My wife and I picked up our 2026 white Corvette convertible yesterday from Andrea McQueen. All we have is great things to say about her. We chose her as our sales person because of her bio it said that she is dedicated to customer satisfaction and she fulfilled that 110%. She kept us informed every step of the process from ordering and giving recommendations of certain options that we all took advantage of and ordered what she suggested. The delivery of the vehicle went very smooth and fast and she helped set up the OnStar and gave us pointers on things in the vehicle on how they worked.   A great dealership with outstanding staff members and industry experience that truly care about your happiness in selecting the right vehicle within your budget and the safety of your family.   Jay Edwards made buying my Chevy Trax 2RS the quickest and easiest car purchase I’ve ever had. He professionally handled all communication with my parents while I was at work, and when I arrived just one hour before the dealership closed, everything was completely set up and ready for me to finalize the deal and sign paperwork. There were absolutely no hidden numbers, no games, and no pressure. Jay even stayed past closing to finish the deal while I waited for my car insurance to finalize, which I truly appreciated. My parents kept saying this was the easiest car-buying experience they’ve had in over 50 years. Jay was honest, efficient, and genuinely great to work with. I’ll definitely be back for future car purchases and maintenance. Highly recommend Jay to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free experience.
