  We had a lot of different makes and models to choose from and Shawnee Mission Kia made the choice easy. Mark was really helpful and showed us a few cars that had the features we wanted. We never felt pressured, he took our concerns and lifestyle into helping us make the right decision. Everyone was especially nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!

  June 09, 2026 is my purchase date. I was in and out within 3 hours. I walked in around 8:45am. My sales person is Goni Lamthi. He has a strong handshake and good eye contact. Goni is very knowledgeable and persuasive. We spoke during the test drive and developed a good repor. He gushed about his beautiful wife and son. Goni patiently & methodically walked me through the process and the purpose of paperwork he needed for me to sign. Goni is very detailed. He assured me that if I have any questions to contact him by phone and/or email. There was no aggressive sales tactics. He did not make me feel bad because I did not have a trade-in or down payment. He was very patient with me. He did not get angry because I was a little indecisive at certain points. The remainder of the process I worked with Tanner Graf. We developed a good repor also. Strong handshake and focused eye contact. We talked several minutes about his planet tattoo, beautiful wife, and his adorable son and daughter. He was very kind and took his time walking me through what was included in the paperwork I was signing. The rest of the process with Tanner Graf involved me signing the mechanical service service contract, gap coverage, total loss protection addendum, odometer disclosure statement, agreement to provide insurance, delivery receipt/accessories due, purchase information pricing breakdown, retail installment sale contract. In the end, I walked out with 2016 Kia Soul Base with only 80,869 miles on it. The vehicle was gassed up and detailed before I drove off the lot.

  We just recently bought a brand new kia from here. It was great start to finish. Had several models of what we was looking for so we looked at the one best suited us. Decided to buy and every thing from start to finish in about 3hrs. Most of it was me looking and asking questions. But everything was answered. All cut and dry and im happy.

  Absolute worst car buying experience. Discussions about financing and final costs were misleading, at best, and in some cases completely dishonest. We were repeatedly told to initial estimates on paperwork after negotiating a change and they would 'update the information before final signatures'. We were told our lender required certain warranties for the interest rate, only to find a different lender on the paperwork AND language on the loan that refuted this. We were repeatedly told that the final cost of the car did not matter, so long as they made the payments low enough that we could afford them each month. This is categorically untrue- the final cost is crucial. It was a master class in gaslighting about finance and pressure. We have called back to discuss with management, only to be redirected to the same person who had the finance discussion The car was 'detailed' before leaving the lot, but we continue to find areas that were not at all cleanedThe car was considered 'new' as a service loaner with less than 2K miles. Does Shawnee Mission Kia routinely sell cars that are dirty and reek of smoke? After sitting in our driveway overnight and open the next morning, the entire cabin reeked of cigarette smoke. We WILL continue to try to reach management and we will not risk doing business with anyone there. If we could trade our car back and walk away never to deal with them again, that would be preferable.
