  I just purchased my very first brand new car from Silverthornes. This car came with a lot of bells and whistles. Ronda, my sales lady, was awesome to work with. She was patient with my lack of knowledge of technology. She sat with me for quite awhile to show me all the features my car had to offer. Over all I had an awesome, smooth, and helpful experience buying from Silverthornes. Highly recommend.

  Where do I even start... My first experience with them was bringing in a vehicle for a loud noise. I was told the exhaust manifold was cracked and quoted $1,750. I got a second opinion in town and found out it was just a broken bolt. It was fixed for $250 and never had another issue. Getting a second opinion saved me $1,500. I brought another vehicle in for a roof leak after a heavy rain. I was first told the rear spoiler was leaking, it was sealed and “water tested,” and I was assured it was fixed. The next heavy rain, it leaked again. Then I was told it was the seal. That was replaced and again I was told it was fully tested and fixed. Within 30 minutes of picking it up, I noticed damage to the center radio console that was not there when I dropped it off. I brought it back immediately, but my concerns were met with indifference. After another heavy rain I found it leaking again. The diagnosis this time; a roof pinch weld, then it was another seal, then back to the weld. I was told they were contacting GMC and were waiting to hear back. After continued attempts to get a status update from Silverthorne with no luck, I was put in touch with GMC myself, they initially had no record of being contacted by Silverthorne which I had to take it upon myself to pursue and ensure they were communicating. Later I was told the leak supposedly wasn’t covered due to a “modified” roof weld, despite no record of any modifications. I eventually took the truck to another dealership. They confirmed there was no roof modifications, found a worn front antenna gasket causing the leak, ordered the part, and fixed it within two business days. This whole ordeal is much more in-depth including them damaging my vehicle each time I took it there but I am condensing for review length. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing your research and getting a second opinion before dealing with them.

  I recently bought a car from Bill Shick at Silverthorne Chevrolet GMC in Robinson, IL, a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV RS, and I’d say - the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Bill was extremely communicative and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. He’s genuine, easy to talk to, and never once made me feel pressured. Since I didn’t know much about electric vehicles going in, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything and made sure I understood how it all worked. He really made the transition to an EV smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he gave me an incredible deal. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend Bill - 5/5 experience!

  Hands down! Zachary Eller was the absolute best, salesman I've worked with. I walked in off the street && just happened to land Zach. I gave him the deets, of my situation and what my previous vehicle was that I would be replacing. Then proceeded to give him the specifics of exactly what it was I was looking for, he pulled 4 to 7 sets of keys. And not only was he knowledgeable, and informative but he was courteous too. He gave me a wide variety of choices, different options of the 3rd row vehicles to start looking at. He answered all my questions, and was super friendly the entire time not pushy or aggressive to make a sale. We happened to find the perfect vehicle pretty quickly, and I test drove her. Silverthorne Chevorlet is lucky to have such an amazing guy, on the sales floor. He made the woes of car buying seemlying non-exsistant. The purchase was amazing, and all the staff I dealt with were personable, and friendly. 10 out of 10, I'd highly recommend Silverthorne if your looking for some new wheels.

  I purchased a 2016 RAM 1500 Big Horn at Silverthorne Chevrolet, with Dewayne Sneed as my salesperson. I honestly couldnt have been more satisfied with the experience. I was looking at another truck that had sold before i got the chance to test drive it, and within 2 days i got a message from him saying he had a fresh trade in. I went and test drove it the next day and was approved for financing within an hour of driving it. He has truly gone above and beyond his duty as a salesman, and i truly hope he knows how wonderful he made my visit to the dealership! Thank you so much Dewayne! I absolutely love my new truck. They took the time during the service to make sure everything was 100% on my vehicle as well, so thank you to the service department as well! Will be going back when its time for a new truck in 4-5 years
