2 months agoI just want to give a huge shout out to Donald at Valmark Chevrolet in New Braunfels for making this such an amazing experience. Buying a Tahoe is something I’ve wanted for many years, and he truly made it special from start to finish. Donald was kind, patient, honest, and never once made me feel pressured or like he only cared about a commission. He genuinely cared about helping me find exactly what I wanted and making sure I was happy. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and treats people the right way. I’m beyond thankful for his help and couldn’t be happier with my Tahoe. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and down to earth, definitely ask for Donald. Thank you again for making this dream happen for me!

a month agoAfter more than 30 years and half a dozen cars bought it was finally not painful. The staff made the process much quicker than I remembered and Don came in early to get the ball rolling. Highly recommend this dealership.

6 months agoI recently had the pleasure of working with Cody, a service advisor at Chevy, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Cody quickly arranged for a diagnostic on my vehicle and kept me fully informed throughout the entire process. The diagnostic revealed that the issue was covered by my warranty, which was a huge relief. Cody made sure to schedule my service on a date that worked well, even letting me know in advance that it would be a busy day, so I could plan accordingly. Despite the busy schedule, the team got the work done quickly and efficiently, which exceeded my expectations. Cody’s professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. If you’re looking for a service advisor who is reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about customers, I highly recommend asking for Cody at Chevy. Five stars all the way!

4 months agoMy wife and I recently bought both a truck and a car from ValMark Chevy, and I can honestly say this was one of the best dealership experiences we’ve had. AJ Garcia was our salesman and he was solid. No pressure, no gimmicks, no “let me squeeze you into something more expensive and juggle the payment numbers” nonsense. He actually listened to what we said we wanted and needed, respected our budget, and worked within it. That alone sets him apart from most sales guys out there. Ricardo in finance was just as good. He beat every other APR offer we had and kept the payment where we needed it. The whole process felt straightforward and transparent. No shady back-room surprises, no last-minute number games. Just honest conversation and real effort to earn our business. They didn’t play games with my trade-in either. No lowballing, no funny math, no trying to make up the difference somewhere else. The numbers made sense, and everything was clear from start to finish. Buying vehicles usually feels like going into a negotiation war. This didn’t. It felt professional. It felt honest. And that’s rare. If you want a dealership that treats you like a grown adult instead of a commission check, go see AJ and Ricardo at ValMark Chevy. My wife and I would absolutely do business here again — no hesitation

5 months agoI brought my truck to this Chevrolet dealership’s service center due to a very loud and easily noticeable grinding noise. The noise was obvious and clearly audible; however, the service department claimed they could not find any issue. Because I had stopped driving the truck out of concern for the grinding noise, the vehicle sat unused at my home and the battery eventually died. I jump-started the truck only to bring it to the dealership. After the jumpstart, a check engine light appeared. I clearly explained to the service advisor that the light came on only after the jumpstart. The advisor stated they could connect the vehicle to their diagnostic equipment to see if the dead battery caused the light. What was never explained to me is that I would be charged $189 simply to connect a computer and confirm that the battery was dead — something I already knew and had disclosed. After I complained, the dealership reduced this charge to $95. However, the estimate and breakdown provided by the dealership are misleading. The estimate shows a $0 charge for the battery diagnostic, yet I was still charged a diagnostic fee. In total, I paid $322 and received absolutely no repair, no diagnosis of the grinding noise, and no meaningful service. When I declined to pay an additional $304 for a battery replacement, the dealership returned my keys and gave me my truck with a completely dead battery, leaving me stranded on their property. No assistance or alternatives were offered. I was forced to walk approximately half a mile to purchase a battery myself and install it in the dealership parking lot just so I could leave. I believe this situation reflects misleading billing practices, poor communication, unfair diagnostic charges, and a lack of basic customer service.
