  We purchased a Volvo XC40 recharge from this dealership. I have to admit that we were hesitant to face a strong sales experience but upon arrival, we were treated with a no pressure and easy going approach. I’m glad to have come here. We worked with Harry Yee and Travis Evora. Harry helped us with the test drive, and showed us different options. Travis assisted us with the paperwork and finance portion. If you’re in the market for a Volvo, please come and see these guys. They are truly the best. No pressure, beautiful showroom and knowledgeable. Appreciate the help!

  Volvo Cars Marin — hands down best in class, and it’s because of Tex Harrison. If you’re a woman navigating the car world solo, ask for Tex. Trust me. I was managing this entire process remotely… (crazy I know) I’ve been traveling, in and out of the city, never once stepping foot in a dealership, never once test drove a single car. I was talking to 6 dealers across the Bay Area simultaneously and Tex outshined every single one. Made it simple, transparent, and was incredibly patient throughout. I never felt oversold or pressured. Just genuinely guided. The best part: the day I got back to SF, Tex arranged for Dan to deliver the car directly to my front door. Dan is the man !! He spent 2 hours walking me through every feature, every detail, answered every question. For my first car ever, that kind of care meant everything. The only thing I’d add for future buyers, ask about the trunk cover if you’re in the city. Wish I’d known to add it on! Tex + Dan! genuinely grateful an incredible duo. Thank you both! — For the women - forget about the Macan… the Volvo XC60 is BEAUTIFUL & essentially a smart home w/ a back massager on 4 sturdy wheels. The crystal shifter, the lighting in the interior of the car, the leather. Everything is so intentional. It feels like quiet luxury.

  I went into Volvo Cars Marin to test drive a vehicle that I had been looking at online for about 2 weeks. I reached out and received a quick response from the salesperson Tex, who was very nice and helpful. I met with Tex who took me to the vehicle then introduced me to another salesperson named Jared. Jared was amazing! He was personable, extremely knowledgeable about cars, he made me feel really comfortable, he had amazing energy, he was really honest about buying cars and answered all my questions and concerns. Jared made my buying process fun, easy and smooth. Tex was also extremely helpful when it came to showing me options with extended warranties and was also willing to provide a discount on the price of the warranty. 10 out of 10, I would recommend buying and new or used vehicle from Volvo Cars Marin. It was a wonderful experience.

  On June 20, 2026, I drove from Sacramento to the Volvo/Polestar dealership in San Rafael because I was seriously interested in purchasing a Polestar 4. The trip took about two hours, and I came specifically to learn about the vehicle, its specifications, and pricing. When I arrived, I walked through the showroom and saw a yellow Polestar 4 on display. I sat inside the vehicle to take a closer look. Shortly afterward, a customer service representative approached me and told me to get out of the car because he had other clients he needed to show it to. I found this very disappointing and disrespectful. I was also a potential customer, and being asked to leave the vehicle immediately made me feel unwelcome. After that, I went to the front desk and asked for information about the Polestar 4. I was told that they did not know anything about the vehicle and that I needed to find someone else. I was surprised that staff at a Volvo/Polestar dealership could not provide basic information about a vehicle they sell. I then asked whether they had any brochures, pricing sheets, or printed information available. I was simply told to look online. Overall, I found the customer service to be rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I traveled a significant distance with the intention of buying a car, but instead of receiving assistance, I felt ignored and dismissed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for attentive customer service or support when shopping for a vehicle.

  We keep our cars a long time (10+ years) so buying a new one is a big deal (not that it is an everyday occasion for others). We found three identical vehicles in the Bay Area at three different Volvo dealerships. It was interesting to observe the wide variety and quality of engagement, as well as comparing offers--though some were forthcoming and others ignored basic questions. Long story short, Jared Bove at Marin Volvo was by far the most responsive online, timely, courteous, and informative. When we arrived at the dealership, we had standing appointments at other dealerships later that day. We fully expected/intended to make them to pursue the best deal. Thankfully, we didn't have to keep them. We are confident that we wouldn't have gotten a materially better offer or had a better sales experience.
