“I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my experience with the Jeep service department in Gwinnett. I brought my vehicle to your dealership on Friday after being directed by Hertz Car Sales to have a warranty-related issue diagnosed and repaired. At the time of my visit, my vehicle was still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. However, I was informed that the dealership could not inspect my vehicle that day and that I would need to return on Monday due to a staff potluck event. I followed the instructions provided and returned on Monday. At that time, I was informed that my vehicle was no longer eligible for warranty coverage because it had exceeded the warranty limit by only 86 miles. This situation is extremely frustrating because the issue was reported while the vehicle was still under warranty, and I presented the vehicle to your dealership while it was still under warranty . Had my vehicle been inspected during my initial Friday visit, the warranty coverage would not have been in question. Instead, I was asked to return at a later date, and I am now being denied coverage due to a delay that was outside of my control. Since then, I have been sent back and forth between Hertz Car Sales and Jeep, with each party directing responsibility elsewhere. Meanwhile, the issue remains unresolved. The faulty sensor that caused the original concern has still not been repaired, and I am left driving a vehicle that I do not feel is operating properly or safely. What concerns me most is the lack of accountability and customer care throughout this process. I have documentation, video evidence, and records showing that the vehicle was still under warranty when I initially sought service. Despite providing this information and making every effort to address the issue promptly, no one has offered a reasonable solution. I am requesting that Jeep review this matter, acknowledge the circumstances surrounding the warranty expiration, and provide a fair resolution”
