Campaign 26V455000

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2020-2026 Nissan Armada, 2011-2013 Infiniti QX56, and 2014-2027 QX80 vehicles equipped with 22" wheels. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Risk: An overloaded vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. Additionally, Nissan will mail replacement labels to owners. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 4, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's numbers for this recall are R26B1 and R26B2. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on July 16, 2026.

Back Over Prevention: Software

Campaign 25V821000

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2025 Murano, 2025-2026 Armada, and Infiniti QX80 vehicles. A software error may occur in the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system at vehicle startup, resulting in the rearview camera image not displaying when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: The IVI system software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 2, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261 or Infiniti's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. Nissan's numbers for this recall are R25D6, R25D5, and R25D7. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning December 12, 2025.

I did not want this to escalate like it has, but I’ve been left with no choice after days of being patient and nice about issues and still no response from management. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had after a car purchase and it’s trickled down from the GM himself. I purchased a 26 QX60 at the end of February and it’s been a nightmare since day 2 of owning it. On day 2, I went down to the dealership on my own time to drop off the second fob from the car I traded in and let them know that the car was dirty, had fingerprints all over it, and had oil splatters all over the outside. They took it back to wash it, and when me and some random salesman went out to look at it, I noticed there was a giant bolt in my front passenger tire. This was definitely not there prior to arriving. After he told me multiple times to just take it to discount tire instead of trying to offer any assistance that the dealership could do, I left. He was more concerned about setting me up with some app instead of trying to help me. This was on a Sunday and all the discount tires and tire shops were closed. As I was driving home, I could hear the bolt loudly tinking as I was driving. This was definitely not present when I drove there. Unfortunately this left me stranded on the freeway with a flat tire when the bolt came loose. I had to call them multiple times and inform them what happened and have them come pick up the car. My husband then went down to the dealership to retrieve an AirTag out of my old car and spoke to the GM who seemed like he was upset about the situation and offered a restaurant gift card for the trouble since it was such a nightmare. We still don’t have this gift card after asking about it twice now and it’s been a month and a half already. Then they bring me in for a reconnect appointment and I mentioned the cars AC is musty, the pro pilot is pulling to the right too much, and the headlights are pointed at the ground. Due to them not having a full staff on
