3 months agoI had a great experience with the sales team at Kia. However, their service department is unresponsive and difficult to work with. I will never purchase another vehicle at this dealership due to these issues. Firstly, within 32 days of purchasing my vehicle the Turbo and other components of my engine broke. Shortly after these issues were fixed at the Kia in St. Cloud (where we had a wonderful experience) my engine started shaking aggressively while idling. We brought it into Kia of Fargo and they were unable to identify any issues. We eventually agreed to do a fuel induction service to problem shoot the issue. This service was completed on a Saturday, 4 days after we dropped the vehicle off. We did not receive an update until the following Tuesday, even though we called multiple times. On that Tuesday they reassured my husband that the issue was fixed. When my husband arrived to pick up the vehicle, they realized a sensor had broke and they could not return the vehicle after an hour and a half of my husband sitting there. They reassured us that the vehicle would be fixed the next day. When my husband called (multiple times) on that Wednesday, they told him they would not get the part until Thursday. I had to leave town that weekend so on Thursday morning I picked up a rental vehicle. At that time, they reassured us that we could pick up the vehicle that afternoon. We did not hear back from them until that Saturday. When we finally received a response, they informed us that they could not find our keys and that we would not be able to pick up the vehicle until Monday, nearly two weeks after we dropped off the vehicle. We were told this was a simple "miscommunication" and that there was nothing they could do. I am unsure why my vehicle was finished for two and a half days without us being notified, and why they chose to hold the vehicle for 5 days after services were completed and paid for. I have attempted to call the manager to discuss my concern

2 months agoI recently went in for an oil change on my 2019 cx-5. Since it had about 197,000 miles on it already I have been researching the 2026 cx5’s and thought maybe I’d check out my options if the salesperson was available. Rob was and I was able to go on a few test drives of different models with Rob and found a 2026 cx5 Premium trim model I really liked. I was AMAZED at how much Mazda gave me for my 2019 despite the high miles on my trade-in and they also had several rebates/specials available. From “just looking” to driving off owning a new 2026 model, I was treated with respect and patience as I hemmed & hawed over whether to buy or not. Rob was incredibly helpful and personable, completely understanding what I was looking for. His communication was awesome. The finance and managerial staff were efficient and looked out for MY best interests. I’ve also only taken my 2019 to Mazda for all services- and I’ve never had an ok experience- it’s all been great. I’ll never buy a car anywhere else! Excellent experience all around!

a month agoWe had an exceptional experience. The dealership had a great inventory of vehicle models. The price and deal offered was extremely fair, so we didn’t feel the need to negotiate everything. We were never made to feel pressured or that the dealership just wanted to make the sale.

4 months agoBest experience working with Kia of Fargo dealership. So much more casual and relaxed of an environment. And a lot quicker than other dealerships. We worked with Jean and he helped us test drive almost a dozen vehicles and was great at mentioning car features we wouldn’t have noticed and differences between different vehicle makes/models. It was so helpful. We didn’t make a purchase with them at the end of the day just due to the car we want not being at their dealership, but I wish it had been because we wanted to give them the sale! I would highly recommend working with the team at Kia of Fargo if you’re looking for a new vehicle.
