I would never recommend this company for anything that's not typical because they don't seem to be flexible about anything. I was visiting from Jacksonville Florida picking up a rescue dog at the local shelter to save its life and bring it back to a rescue group in Jacksonville. After getting my oil service yesterday by a local company in Jacksonville I noticed this morning my AC isn't working. It's 90° outside. I have a health issue. So when I noticed the Kia Roundtree Moore across the street from where I stopped for a minute I figured I'd call and see if they could at least tell me is there something that could have been affected when I got my oil change done. The service manager wasn't available because it was in a meeting or that's just a line they use. I heard a lot about their policies and procedures which I understand and respect but this is an unusual circumstance. This is actually why I don't like Kia because I find Kia isn't very flexible in general and once I'm done with this vehicle I'll be done with Kia. Without telling me or even attempting to tell me if something could be affected from the oil change, I was told it would be a $220 fee to look at it and they're not even sure if they could fix it obviously which I understand because we don't know what the problem is. And they'd try to get me in but they may not be able to get me in. What happened to good old fashioned "Let's help our neighbors"? Turns out my husband was able to look up something on YouTube and it looks like the way they put the cover over the air filter that they replaced yesterday in the glove compartment was wrong. Took me 5 minutes to fix it but the Kia in Lake City couldn't be bothered. If they can't be bothered to help on something that could be quick it makes me wonder how they're really doing my car or I would be wondering how they're doing your car and what they're charging you for.
