“Very disappointed with our experience. On Sunday, we contacted the dealership through Facebook about a truck we were interested in. We were told we could come look at it Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Based on that information, my husband and his brother both took off work and we made the nearly 4-hour drive to the dealership. When we arrived Monday morning, we were told the truck had actually been sold on Saturday. The salesperson stated that he had messaged the manager to let him know we would be coming and that the manager acknowledged the message. We were then told the buyer had completed paperwork and was waiting on bank approval. When we asked if there was documentation showing the truck was under contract, none was provided to us. The dealership did give us $300 for our travel expenses, which we appreciate. However, that does not make up for the lost wages, time off work, and nearly 8 hours of driving round-trip. This situation could have been avoided with better communication within the dealership. When customers are traveling several hours to purchase a vehicle, accurate information is extremely important. Being told a vehicle is available, only to arrive and find out it was supposedly sold days earlier, is frustrating and a major inconvenience. The dealership needs better communication between management and sales staff to prevent this from happening to future customers. I wouldn’t even waste your time.”
